Starting in Hull & East Yorkshire · open to musicians UK-wide

Find a musician for Sunday, or get booked for one.

Verogig is a UK booking platform for churches, chapels and venues that need a singer or instrumentalist — often at short notice. You see who is available, what they charge and whether they're DBS-checked, then pay through the platform with the money held until the service has happened.

What Verogig is

A booking system for the Friday afternoon your keyboard player drops out.

Right now that means working through WhatsApp groups and personal phone numbers, with no way to check a DBS certificate and no record of what was agreed. Verogig replaces that with a searchable list of self-employed musicians, a written booking, and one payment that both sides can point to.

We are an introduction and booking platform, not an employer or an agency roster. Musicians set their own fees and choose their own work.

How a booking works

Four steps, and you only pay at step four.

1. Search without an account

Pick the instrument, style, date, town and the fee you can pay. You see who fits before you sign up for anything.

2. Check the evidence

Each profile shows DBS and insurance status, years played, minimum fee and a 30-second audition clip the musician recorded themselves.

3. Send one request

One short form covers the date, venue town, fee and any notes. The musician accepts or declines, and you agree the details in the booking chat.

4. Pay once, on acceptance

You pay when the musician accepts. Verogig holds the money and releases it 24 hours after you confirm the service happened.

What we can promise today

Only the things we can show you.

  • Searching and messaging are free

No subscription and no listing fee. You only pay when a musician has accepted your booking.

  • 2.5% service fee, capped at £60

Added on top of the musician's fee and shown in full before you enter any card details.

  • Money held until the service is done

Cards are handled entirely by Stripe. Verogig never sees or stores card numbers.

  • A 30-second audition clip per profile

Musicians upload themselves playing, so you can judge the standard before you book.

Where we are

Verogig is new, and we won't pretend otherwise

We are onboarding our first musicians and churches, starting around Hull and East Yorkshire, and we accept musician profiles from anywhere in the UK. You won't find member counts, booking totals, testimonials or press logos on this site, because we don't have real ones yet.

What does exist is the process: documents checked before a badge appears, an audition clip on every profile, a written record of everything agreed, and the fee held until the service has happened. Ratings will appear once they've been earned through bookings made here.

Cover the gap without the phone tree
